Bishop Thomas Aquinas in Belgium

The recent visit of Bishop Thomas Aquinas OSB, one of the Bishops of ‘Catholic Fidelity’ made memorable day in Vedrin in Belgium. During his visit, the Bishop Thomas took the opportunity to confer the sacrament of Confirmation on three people. In the afternoon, he gave a short conference to the faithful present on the situation of the Catholic religion in Brazil, the problem of modernism and the Protestant sects that are flourishing there, not to mention the crisis of the Society of St. Pius X and the worrying situation in Bellaigue, which no longer follows the same path as his monastery of the Holy Cross.

The faithful were also able to appreciate the calm, peace and clarity of judgement of Bishop Thomas Aquinas far from the very serious slanders that were made against him by a priest associated with the MJCF  (French Youth Group). Unfortunately, the devil avenges himself as best he can against those who defend the Reign of Christ the King. Slander is a weapon that has always proved effective in keeping souls away from the truth.

Let us pray for our bishops and defend their honour.

Faithful Priests

Bishop Williamson has just blessed  a chapel in St. Gallen in Switzerland. It has been founded for  the ‘Catholic Fidelity’ and served by Father Brühwiler, a Swiss priest who left the Society of Saint Pius X to remain faithful to the Church, and is now under the authority of Mgr. Faure.
Father Brühwiler works  with Fathers Epiney and Grenon, in Riddes in the Valais.
In addition, Fr. Failer started from Austria has started a ministry for ‘Catholic Fidelity’ in Germany, among other places in Cologne. He has joined Fr. Fuchs, who is also responsible for part of his apostolate in Austria and Hungary.
May our prayers accompany these valiant priests.

Pray for them!

Fourth Anniversary

We celebrate today the fourth anniversary of our little Mass Centre in Earlsfield where, thanks be to God, we have had a weekly Sunday Mass for Catholics from the London area and home counties, faithful to the spirit of Archbishop Lefebvre and against the liberalism of the SSPX. Well over 100 souls have availed themselves of the sacraments here.

In addition to the weekly Sunday Mass we have had Religious Professions, Third Order Professions, many conferences, pilgrimages, a Rosary Blast and only a few months ago a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the episcopal consecration of Bishop Williamson.
Deo gratias.
Please remember us in your prayers.
